Indiana Jones

Yesterday whimsy had a terrible migraine attack!!! Must be due to the fuel increase thing! Bummer!. Migraine or no migraine didn't deter Whimsy from the latest Indiana Jones flick.
Anyway, later in the evening I brought my nieces and nephew for the latest Indiana Jones movie. While waiting for the movie, we had a stroll along the Night Market, hawkers were still setting up their stalls, but I did manage to get some pics. Check out the Bling Bling...Imagine if they were real gems!!!They were still beautiful though. The fake Oakley shades also caught my eyes. They were selling at RM38 per pair. I wanted to buy, but i'm not sure whether fake sunglasses got UV protection? Anybody has any knowledge on this? Please share.
On to the Indiana Jones movie. Well...what do u expect from IJ movie? They did not disappoint...it really was Indiana Jones-y. Many hair raising moments. Loads of jumping, running, cemetery scene, quite okay historic sites, etc. I don't fancy the heroin though (I think she is too haggard for my Indy!). The site was supposed to be in Peru (something about the Mayan civilisation/temple). But I think the ending was not good! Hello, after so much trouble that my Indy had to endure to return the "crystal skull", the temple was destroyed and tadaaaaaa!!!!! the flying saucer was finally freed (the UFO thing-y was waiting for the last crystal skull for hundreds of years, before it can finally return to its dimension!) I think the story writer was out of idea on how to end the story. Aren't the UFO creatures suppose to be super intelligent (they were suppose to teach human on technologies beyond the era - eg: water irrigation, agriculture etc), but they couldn't find the missing 13th crystal skull? Hello, they have to wait hundred of years for my Indy to return it to them? Chissssss!!!!
Harrison Ford looks old, but still dashing. I once was so infatuated with IJ, and after seeing the movie I think I still am.....LOL!

Whimsy with Nia and Bebet. Gosh how fast they grow up, and soon they will tower over their whimsy aunt.

NEVER buy sunglasses di tepi2 jalan! More harm than good! Tiada uV filter tu whimsi...Btw, I went to see IJ d 1st day it came out. Memang Doug and I mati2 ketawa terbahak2 at the ending. I can only describe it as "sot". We both agreee that the movie should fall under the category "comedy" instead of adventure. Weh...gambar storm you cun lah!!! Can submit to National Geographic! cuma atap tu bah...

I agree 100% to Anonymous..the fake shades will only absorb more UV rays than if u're not wearing any shades.
