Peteluangan di teratak Baking Projek

We went beraya at Min's. Memang hospitality Min & Zul adalah A++++. It was so good of them to entertain us. Zul and Cha sampai pi drive malam-malam pi cari kami di jalanan (ada confusion menunggu antara Tesco Ampang dan Tesco Extra)..Inda sempat aku ambik gambar makanan si Min (the rendang paru is really to die for..sangat nyaman! dan mee rebus seafood dengan kepingan oyster juga sangat aku suka!). Min and Zul's home is so sweet. Sejuk hati masuk rumah dorang (di bantu juga dengan aircond full blast kuasa kuda 3 power kan min). Her garden is amazing! Ada "green house" mini ala Return to River Cottage, ada lemon (yg kuning), grapes (real punya, bukan pelastik), green apple (ada buah but Min said sudah gugur), kepayas, huge juicy tomatoes dan beberapa herba melayu. Aku memang kagum lah. I like Min's mosaic kitchen wall.

Petualangan kath & Val (Part 2)

I suddenly remembered zaman dolu-dolu membaca buku Enid Blyton The Famous 5 being translated into Bahasa Melayu/Indonesia. Petualangan tu "pengembaraan" bah kan..jgn pula erti dia ketulangan kan! Anyway, ini adalah Part 2 of petualangan Kath & Val. I wanted to take artsy pictures, thus the many "dark", close up objects......LOL.

One of the main reasons of going to Melaka is to satisfy my cravings for "nasi ayam hainan bulat". Tapi..rupanya lidah ku sudah tebal. Years ago when i first tasted this round nasi, it was love at first sight. I was so taken by its round shape. Tapi, sekarang, dengan iski-siki kami berbaris lama menunggu giliran mau makan ini barang, rupanya tidak sudah I smitten. Sejuk ayam kampung stimnya, mcm bikin kembang leher mau telan the ayam sejuk, and the rice biasa-biasa ja pula. How i miss the innocence and naivety of the first ever experience of tasting this years ago...Oh welll....

I still like the old buildings in Melaka though. The odd colors and sturdy workmanship. Suka betul kami berangan-angan to live in one of the old shophouses there with its inner courtyard garden. To be transported to kehidupan zaman Puteri Hang Li Poh.

Yg ni - curiosity kills Kath. We were attracted to the sound of mengetuk-ngetuk membuat gula-gula. Mcm lawa betul candy nya - warna butterscotch caramel. Harga the candy RM3 se plastik kecil. Chisss punya bida rasa the gula-gula. Bukan rasa butterscotch, rasa colgate yg mau bangas sudah!

Kath & Val

Apa khabar semua? raya holidays was spent with Cath. It was good to catch up with one of my besties. Penuh dengan gelak ketawa and catching up on personal updates etc etc. Nanti i upload banyak lagi pengembaraan Kath & Val ya. As of now, mau susun cerita dulu. Slow sikit enjin i ni, lama inda menaip. Part 1 ni, i just put post tema "Gadis-gadis dan bunga" dulu la.

I mau ini "pentaran" for my future rumah retirement (God's willing).

Renewed & Refresh

I thank my Lord for the renewal in spirit and much needed break from life's daily chaos and noise. To be able to take a step backward and observe things from a different view. To have hope that I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. To rest in His presence, to lean on Him when the going gets tough.

I thank the Lord for these gifts. And Sri & M will say.......AMEN!
