Hari Tin

Matilah kedai K ada stok barang barang tin baru!! Baru i terpigi yesterday. Retail theraphy! I m so veryvery happy dgn hasil hasil i. And all the kutin kutin rogono less than RM10 each. Yg pic atas mcm piring/bowl dibuat dari tin. I m so smitten by the roses prints. Tapi sgt nipis lah ni bowl (mcm nipis tin milo). Jgn dituyung air panas. Setakat taruh gula-gula ja i rasa boleh. Durian JGN sekali-kali!!! confirm bocor. Pretty kan. So Cath Kidson..
Yg 2 atas, talam tebal sedikit. I m so in the Christmas mood now!!! I sudah start mengumpul brg-brg 4 Christmas. Tapi inda sampai hati i mau bikin talam ni. I might just use these as wall deco.

Amazing!

July's highlight was the Ba Kelalan trip(15-18 July 2010)..It was just amazing. 13 hours rugged, muddy and curam road. Dinner in the middle of the muddy and cold Ba Kelalan jungle. The experience was priceless...

Bulan Juni Yg Meriah

Bulan Juni highlight was co's family day picnic. It was not bad. Kaya makanan kami. Ordered 2 ekor kambing panggang.Ini baru lah tebarus kan. Another highlight was Project dept staff wanita semua ikut lawan gusti tangan. Wakakak. Semua ada menang except me. Si Dg juara dan Zack naib juara. I uncit...

I cinta kutin lawa lawa. And mati lah di kedai K di Putatan (dan beberapa cawangannya.., tapi yg di Putatan yg banyak choice - tak mau free marketing kpd kedai unless dia kasi i voucher free!) makin banyak kutin-kutin lawa. Nasib harga the tin tidak sampai harga 1 ekor sapi. Paling mahal pun RM12.90. Berbolai (si hadji bilang!). I've added 4 more kutin to my collections. Apalah I mau isi dlm kutin tersebut kan. ...

1st pic - inda berapa lawa gambarnya kan, very 70's. But I like the rectangular shape. Susah sket mau cari kutin 4 segi. Yg slalu ada bulat. Patutka I spray and decoupage kutin tersebut? Wht do u think? I would love to hear your comments.

Yg ni the biggest kutin I ada to date. I suka betul the roses. Cantik kan....

Paling I suka this polka dot kutin. Matching dgn beg luggage i. Next post I'll post on the "polka dot family" collection k.

Jodoh

I had been eyeing these cake stands piece since 2008. Everytime I ke kedai putatan, pasti i akan pi cubuk ni barang. And i always had some hesitation of buying it. But, it never went completely out of my mind. When finally, finally, finally after 2 long years, it finally is mine! Ngam lah org tua bilang, "kalau jodoh memang tak ke mana". Itu lah tu kan. After 2 tahun, ini barang masih belum kena beli! Tak payah dipaksa kalau jodoh, mcm mana mau mengelak, itu lah tu kan! Selepas bertahun I pok-pok ni ringkatan kek. Berbaloi pula harga dia tu. 3 sizes, boleh taruh bapa kek, mama kek dan anak kek. I'm so in love of this piece now. It goes so perfectly with my other blue n white collections. It adds a whimsical touch to the rest of the collections.

Kita wait for an ocassion for it to be used. In the mean time, take care all.

May pretties

High time I posted some pretties, don't u think so?

They are only 6 (including this one) posts to date for 2010. Things had been pretty hectic, but that is not a very good excuse to neglect tis whimsical blog of mine eh.

Weekend was filled with too many to do lists for spring cleaning. First task is "berkarya", giving a tired dresser a "springy flowery look". Not too tidy tho but shd be ok for now. Need to tidy up a bit more. Will post the completed pic.

Bario

What a privilege to be able to visit Bario in Sarawak. By plane via Miri. A 50 minutes flight on a 18 (or 19 or 16, lupa ku) seater, tiny air plane. Doa lah banyak-banyak sebelum masuk dlm kapal damit.

Excellent hospitality by the Kelabits. A blessed land. A trip that was good for the soul. Too many pictures taken,too few words that are able to describe the land.

Among my fav is the local limau. Juicy and crispy (ada ka limau mcm tu?). Gemuk lagi the limau dari hp i kan.
A maiden visit to a Kelabit longhouse. A priceless experience. We were greeted by an array of food. Fit for a foodie king/queen.

Bario on a rainy day.

Bario is indeed a blessed land. The favor of God is upon this land.
